Teeth?!?!?

So, I have had a theory for awhile that babies with hair get teeth later while bald babies get their teeth early.  With all of my nieces and friends' babies, this has proven true.  Leave it to my own child to prove it wrong!  That's right, Grant has not one, but two teeth already!  He is 5 months old today and got his first tooth a week ago with the second following a few days after!  Although he does not have tons of hair, I do not consider him bald, so there's goes my theory.  I would post a picture of his teeth but I haven't gotten a successful one yet....

On a related note,  Grant has been started on solids!  This is the first time we fed him rice cereal...

I don't think he was a fan  :)  Of course, he was barely 4 months and the only reason we tried it was because he liked to watch our spoons/forks from plate to mouth.  We gave him a bit more time and a week and a half later...

What a difference!  So far he has only had rice cereal and we tried some green beans the other night.  Now when we eat, he not only watches us but he gets upset that we don't give him any!  His daddy sure enjoys feeding him and I'm thinking I've got a good eater :D
